Waiting for my real life to begin

Soo, I was planning on my first post on this blog to be an overly excited “I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!” post with all-too-many exclamation marks and a healthy use of CAPS LOCK, but I was doing some prep on the blog and am in a write-y kind of mood so I figured I’d do a post about what I’m doing in regards to the program right now, which is namely waiting.

I’m currently in the stage of my life where I am in a perpetual low-grade state of anxiety.  The last 5 years, I have basically known where I was going to be and what I was going to be doing at any point in the near future.  Now… not so much.  I’m done student teaching April 26, done with everything at ISU April 27, and have no idea where I will be moving after that.  I need to be out of my apartment the first week of May, and I graduate May 11, but other than that I’m completely in the dark; not only do I not know about the assistantship program yet, but I also have no idea where I’m going to be working and thus living this summer until I (hopefully) move to France, probably in September sometime.
